First off, let's hit you with some stats: According to a 2016 survey, 50% of women say that menopause symptoms negatively affects their working ability and happiness at work. 1 in 10 of these women are so affected by these symptoms and lack of support at work that they actually end up resigning.
Adele is one in ten, and resigned from her corporate role several years ago, so speaks from the heart on this subject.
A happy workforce is a productive workforce, so as an employer, NOW is the time to get your menopause policy statement in place...as an employee, NOW is the time to push your employer to act, before they're told they must act by the UK government (which will happen)!
